Mencast Holdings Ltd
Singapore-based complete MRO (Maintenance, repair and overhaul) solutions provider in the Marine and Oil & Gas Industries, Mencast Holdings Ltd won the Best Managed Board Gold Award in the “Companies with
less than $300 million market capitalisation” category. The SCA’s Best Managed Board Award gives recognition to the boards of Singapore listed companies for good corporate governance practices emphasising on transparency, accountability, performance orientation and good processes.

 

OKP Holdings Limited
Infrastructure and civil engineering company, OKP Holdings Limited, (OKP) has been conferred the Best Annual Report Gold Award, Best Managed Board Silver Award and Best Investor Relations Bronze Award under the category of Companies with less than S$300 million market capitalisation. This is OKP’s second time winning triple honours at SCA, following its hat trick at the SCA 2012. As a testimony of OKP’s commitment to outstanding shareholder and corporate governance practices, OKP has been winning awards at the SCA since 2006.

 

Micro-Mechanic (Holdings) Ltd
Micro-Mechanics (Holdings) Ltd. won the Best Investor Relations Silver Award in the “Companies with less than $300 million market capitalisation” category. This is also the fourth year running that the SCA has given recognition to Micro-Mechanics for its investor relations practices. The management of Micro-Mechanics has been working ceaselessly to provide comprehensive, clear and timely information about the Group to help its shareholders and the investing public to make better-informed investment decisions.

 

Second Chance Properties Limited
Mr Mohamed Salleh Marican, Founder and CEO of Second Chance Properties Ltd won the Best Chief Executive Director award for the category of market capitalisation of less than $300 million. Second Chance Properties Ltd is an investment holding company which engages in the retail of ready-made garments for ladies, girls, men, and boys in Singapore and Malaysia. Under the leadership of Mr Mohamed Salleh Marican, the company operates 3 apparel stores in Singapore and 41 apparel stores in Malaysia, as well as 1 dealership store under the First Lady brand name. Second Chance Properties Ltd was founded in 1975 and is headquartered in Singapore. This award recognises CEOs who have led an organisation to scale new heights in its respective industry segment, while also achieving excellence in corporate governance. They are passionate in building their brand and establishing a compelling presence in the region and globally. Their achievements contribute to the development of their industry.
