As Singapore accelerates national efforts on Covid-19 programme, we are not near any end of the pandemic yet. With uncertainty continues to loom behind the big dark clouds, the prolonged downturn has resulted in slower recovery with many businesses taken the heavy toll. Against this backdrop, the trails of impact are significant as situation deteriorates unexpectedly when we presume the coast is clear. While we emerged and transitioned in this evolving new normal coupled with perpetual disruption, it is evidently shown in our adoption of many trends, like digitalisation and globalisation, our capabilities to adapt in a much more time-constrained fashion. Now, are we ready to take on more challenges albeit the existential threat this pandemic will last?

With over 20 years of experience in clinical practice, corporate management, leadership development, educational and organisational profiling, consulting and training, Lydia’s specialty in developmental psychology is in integrating personal and professional development across the lifespan. As a PEAKS Master-Trainer & Supervisor to PEAKS Consultants across industries, she strives to continuously expand industry and real-life applications provided by the PEAKS People Analytics & Profiling Technology — across vast spectrums of professional, educational and personal domains for positive & integrative impact on lives & communities. Lydia’s professional experience includes being a Clinical Director, Supervisor & Lecturer for a local MA Counselling program, a mental health professional at a private hospital and an educational therapist and counsellor in different clinical and community sectors. Lydia remains passionate in supporting strong Clinical Practicums and the training and supervision of professional Counsellors. She’s also currently active on the EXCO of the Singapore Association for Counselling.  

Dr. Bill Foo

Dr. Bill Foo is a director and corporate advisor of several private, listed and non-profit entities, including Mewah International Inc., CDL Hospitality Trusts, Tung Lok Restaurants (2000) Ltd., M&C REIT Management Ltd and chairing the Salvation Army and Heartware Network Youth Charity organizations. In May 2017, Dr. Foo was appointed to the board of directors of Kenon, having served as a director of IC Power between November 2015 and January 2018. Prior to his retirement, Dr. Foo worked in financial services for over 30 years, including serving as CEO of ANZ Singapore and South East Asia Head of Investment Banking for Schroders. Dr. Foo has also worked in various positions at Citibank and Bank of America and has been a director of several listed and government-related entities, including International Enterprise Singapore (Trade Agency), where he chaired the Audit Committee for several years.

Hui Nee has over 12 years of working experience in an international accounting firm focusing on assurance services in public listed companies, multinational corporations and small and medium enterprises. Her exposure covers a wide range of industries which include recycling & renewable energy, trading, manufacturing & construction, bio-technology & pharmaceutical, service, oil & gas, and non-profit organization. She is also involved in IPO projects where the firm functions as reporting accountants and due-diligence reviews for clients making significant investment acquisitions.
