During the financial crisis of 2008 to 2009, we set up the Nexia TS scholarships for the financially needy students in NTU, SMU and SIM, in particular to support those pursuing the Accountancy degree. As a public accounting firm, we also see this as a way to encourage growth of the accountancy profession and aid aspiring students to achieve their career goals. These scholarships also offer opportunities for internships at our firm and a career path with us upon graduation.

Nexia TS Shanghai Internship (18 March 2019 to 2 August 2019)
Ng Hui Min, NTU Student
“First of all, it is a great honour and appreciation that I thank you for the sponsorship to intern at Nexia TS Pte Ltd in Shanghai office. Nexia TS is one of the top 10 professional accounting and consulting firm in Singapore and therefore I treasure so much this opportunity to complete my professional attachment under Nexia TS. Besides, I believe I will be able to explore the working culture outside Singapore due to this overseas internship and also learn the law and rules of auditing in a different country.
Secondly, I want to formally thank Nexia TS for allowing me to participate in this work and study scheme when I am only a year one student from Nanyang Technological University and I am looking forward to meeting and work with colleagues at Shanghai Office. Working in the accountancy industry has always been my interest and passion. Through this internship, I hope to make positive and productive use of my talent and education.
Thank you Nexia TS again for this sponsorship to intern at Shanghai. I genuinely appreciate the opportunity, and I am looking forward to work in Nexia TS.”
Patrick Soh Woon Hui, NTU Student
“Upon the acceptance of the esteemed inaugural internship offer from Nexia TS, I was cordially invited to speak with Mr Henry Tan. The conversation was brief yet impactful, as Mr Henry Tan’s empowering words further affirmed my conviction to head down to Shanghai and discover the beauty within the Chinese industries from this internship.
I have always viewed bilingualism as an asset that we should polish as it serves as the tool that bridges culture and promotes business collaborations in this globalising world. Nexia TS had sponsored an overseas internship which fitted exactly what I was looking for. Fortunately, Nexia TS was never hesitant to take in first year undergraduates like myself and they were very keen to nurture their next-gen leaders. I am very grateful for the sponsorship and as a firm believer of the value behind the Chinese idiom – “饮水思源”, I aspire to strive and value-add to Nexia TS in my stint with the firm as much as they had done for me for my learning journey to Shanghai.
It was really my honour to receive this offer from Nexia TS and I would like to express my gratitude once again. Thank you Nexia TS!”
