Singapore, 20 June 2018 – The firm sends its heartiest congratulations to the Singapore Women’s Floorball National Team in the landslide 18-0 win over Indonesia in the opening match of the women’s Asia-Oceania Floorball Cup as Singapore hosts teams from the AOFC region such as Japan, Indonesia, India, Korea, Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia.
Organised by the Asia-Oceania Floorball Confederation (AOFC), the opening ceremony was officiated by Guest-of-Honour, Mr Tan Chuan Jin, Speaker of the Parliament and President of the Singapore National Olympic Council, at Our Tampines Hub on 18 June 2018.

This year, a total of 8 national teams, where the Singapore Women’s Floorball National Team is ranked 15th in-place, will compete and vie for the AOFC championship on 23 June 2018.

About the Singapore Floorball Association:
The Singapore Floorball Association (SFA) was formed in 1995. It aims to encourage, develop and manage the sport of Floorball at national and international levels in Singapore. It also strives to promote Floorball to countries within the region. The association is constantly working to increase participation in Floorball and provide more playing opportunities for Singaporeans of all ages. SFA manages the development and promotion of the game to more than 15,000 players, more than 200 schools and 100 clubs.
